What agreements shall we have together for how we want to be WITH each other in this space?
- Importance of co-creating norms and getting to the agreement
- Revisiting the agreements from time to time, otherwise it won't be useful.I felt a bit of confusion or conflict between thre third and fourth sentences. "We can do something, and we need to do that well" vs. "we plant the seed that one day will grow; we may never see the end result." How can I know that I am doing a good job with a idea that the end result will not be seen?
Technology dominates all aspects of society. The culture of technology has shifted from creation to consumption. All the social media, games, and more are desperate to get people's attention. Using technology should be about creating, not consuming.
We have a lot of programs, including SEL, PBIS, MTSS, Restorative Practice, and more. The point needs to be explicit.
- Engaging with self and others
- Participatory decision-making (fair process)
- Expressing, sharing, and reflecting on emotions
- Building, sustaining, and restoring relationshipsFundamental hypothesis = "Human beings are happier, healthier, more productive, and more likely to make positive changes in their commnities when we do things with them, rather than to them or for them or not at all."
In the end, relationship is the key of the process. "What do healthy and appropriate relationships look, sound, feel like?"
