[Kids poetry basketball] Interesting sport-based PYD program

What an interesting sports practice! I came across this innovative program on the wall of a cafe in Greensboro. This reminded me back to Humanities-Oriented Physical Education in South Korea. It is worth looking more into how they have practiced in a community setting.

"Mission statement"
- The mission of Kids Poetry Basketball is to help youth ages 4-13 develop creative and critical thinking skills and enhance literacy through the use of poetry and athletics to build self-esteem and self-awareness. Our goal is to also encourage kids to live a healthy lifestyle through physical play and healthy eating to combat childhood obesity.

This mission statement includes almost all topics around physical and sports pedagogy.
