Short movie 'Validation'_Find and Let'em know

Definitely worth watching.

I found this in the middle of searching for example usages of 'validation' since it has several meanings. I'd like to use this word but I didn't want readers to get misunderstood. I just clicked the first video I put 'validation' on the YouTude search box. And... 15 mins just flew, literally.

 

I can't help but smile all the time, reminding my experiences with students. I was not the kind of person who is good at giving enough compliments. My comments have been based on the facts I found at the right moment. That was the way I had learned. Sometimes, I was even told that easy praising might our students think that they overreact though they weren't. That was the reason I talked to myself from time to time that I am not that good or I need to see over this hurdle instead of celebrating a small success.

 

It was a bad idea. This short film proves what validation could bring changes around the world. It exactly followed the rule, 'Show, Don't tell'.

 

We need more validation in a positive way. Teachers should notice our students' small beautiful things in every moment. And, of course, these should be uttered.
